Wat Pho

Wat Pho was built during Ayutthaya period in 1688- 1703 to hous the Buddha Saiyat or the Reclining Buddha, the most beautiful and secand biggest Buddha in Thailand. The most outstanding feature is pearl-ornamented footin 108 pictures. In this temple there are also Yoga postures of a hermitmuralled.

Wat Arun

The Temple of the Dawn, located across the river from the Grand Palace, represents the cosmic Mount Meru, the center of universe, with chedis marking the eight directions of the world.
